WA jobless rate ticks up
The number of Western Australians in employment fell in September, while the national jobless rate held steady at 3.5 per cent.

Ms Banks joined SEEK in 2015 as its marketing director and became chief commercial officer in 2017 before taking up her current role as managing director of Australia and New Zealand in 2018. Prior to joining SEEK, from 2004 to 2012, she held a number of executive roles at Tesco in the UK including as marketing director of Tesco.com, and as pricing and promotions director. Ms Banks joined Coles in 2012 where her roles included being general manager of Coles Brand (Private Label) and customer insight. She started her career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
