Jason Spears

Jason Spears has over 25 years of experience working in Australia and internationally as a professional engineer and business leader in the resource, civil infrastructure and building sectors.
Mr Spears joined the CIMIC Group in 1999 and was previously executive general manager of major projects and NSW at CPB Contractors. Prior to that, he held roles at Thiess. He became managing director of UGL in July 2017 before becoming managing director of CPB Contractors in November 2020.
Mr Spears led successful outcomes on major projects and in construction and services business across some of Australia’s largest and most complex infrastructure and resources projects. He held roles in project management, general management and executive positions.
