Since 2008, James Giumelli has served as chief executive of Ertech Holdings, a national engineering and construction group that delivers infrastructure projects across Australia.

Mr Giumelli joined Ertech in 1993 as an engineering student and commenced full-time in 1995. Between 1998 and 2002, he left Ertech to work as a geotechnical engineer with global consultancies in Australia and the UK.

Mr Giumelli rejoined Ertech in 2002, managing projects during Western Australia’s resources boom. Appointed chief executive in 2008, he has since led the group’s national expansion.

In 2018, he completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.

James Giumelli is the nephew of Ertech founder Jim Giumelli.
