Evelyn Hogg has over 25 years of experience in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, and governance within Australia and South Africa. She has provided quality control services and designed audit methodologies, compliant with current standards and regulations for a number of assurance providers.
Ms Hogg has been a lecturer of Auditing and Corporate Accounting at the business schools of University of Western Australia, Murdoch University and the University of Notre Dame. She has also co-authored a leading Australian tertiary accounting text.
Ms Hogg spent over a decade as an associate director of Insite Professional Development (a division of BDO) before becoming chief financial officer of Nexion Group in October 2021.
She is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Witwatersrand. She is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
