Daniel Sweeney

Daniel Sweeney is the founding director of SMS Mining Services. He has four decades of experience working in the civil and mining sectors, with extensive experience in mechanical, marine, civil and mining engineering and maintenance. Mr Sweeney started the business as Sweeney’s Mechanical Services in 1998 before transforming it to SMS Mining Services in 2018. Mr Sweeney has practical experience, having held various repairs and maintenance positions across a number of Western Australian mining projects and across a diverse range of commodities. He also holds qualifications as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic and industrial machinist.
