
Dr Con Berbatis has been active in the fields of commerce, community (including philanthropy and cause activism) and pharmacy. For over 50 years, he has been a leader in large community youth sporting, student and administrative bodies mainly in the Greek Australian communities across Australia.
Dr Berbatis co-developed medical centres, retail centres, accommodation and hospitality assets, general commercial and residential property in the 1970s. He was a national reporter on international pharmacy research and developments in the 1980s; and was a lecturer and researcher of pharmacy at Curtin University, University of Sydney, and Monash University.
His commercial career included the development of Kardinya and Waterford shopping centres, the acquisition and operation of three modern hostels in Perth, and the redevelopments of Holiday Inn Perth City Centre and the Esplanade Hotel in Port Hedland.
Dr Berbatis holds a Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science, and is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Western Australia.
In 2018, Dr Berbatis was listed in the top 29 of WA's Rich List.
