Tietto Minerals has continued its impressive run of success in Cote d’Ivoire, Africa with ongoing drilling returning high-grade gold intercepts from the depth extensions of the 2.15 million-ounce AG gold resource.

With inflation rising across the globe and western economies imposing sanctions on Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine, Goldman Sachs, of the world's largest investment banks, has hiked the prices of its commodities forecasts, citing supply disruptions that it says could drive the price of gold towards US$2,500 per ounce this year.

Assays from the first eight diamond drill holes at Aurum Resources’ Boundiali gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa suggest wide, shallow gold mineralisation with more assays on the horizon. The best results were 16m at 1.24 grams per tonne from 117m including a 6m thick section grading 2.44g/t from 127m, 7.39m at 1.94g/t from 139.34m including 5.35m at 2.53g/t from 141.37m.

Aurum Resources has appointed experienced African gold miner Caigen Wang as its new managing director as the company works-up the shallow, wide gold-bearing orebody at its Boundiali project in Côte d'Ivoire. Wang is no stranger to maturing African gold discoveries, taking Tietto Minerals from a market cap of about $30 million to nearly $700 million at its Abujar gold mine, also in Côte D’Ivoire.

The 167.34sq km Boundiali South ground, now formerly owned by Turaco Gold, has previously thrown up solid gold hits including 20m at 10.45g/t from 38m.

The new assay collection also includes 59m at 1.42g/t gold from 68m with 13m at 3.92g/t and 23m at 1.36g/t from 293m featuring a 5m chunk going a solid 3.32g/t.

Aurum Resources has again hit paydirt in its expanded drilling campaign at the company’s Boundiali project in Côte d'Ivoire with a 1m hit coming in at 35.86g/t, more than an ounce to the tonne gold. The company continues to furiously expand its already identified 2.5km of gold mineralisation which is still open along strike and at depth. Another 17m intersection in the latest campaign landed 1.6 g/t gold from 230m and included a 4m section grading 2.02 g/t gold.

Aurum Resources has hit some of its best exploration numbers yet, jagging an impressive 17.31m hit grading 5.9g/t gold including 6m at 16.07g/t gold from diamond drilling at its Boundiali gold project in Côte d'Ivoire. Aurum Resources has completed more than 24,000m of diamond core drilling at its Boundiali “BM” joint venture project in Côte d'Ivoire, earning it an 80 per cent interest in the 400 sq km project. The drilling was undertaken by Aurum’s 100 per cent-owned subsidiary Plusor Global in its Plusor-Minex JV tenement, the other 20 per cent of which currently resides with its JV partner Minex West Africa.

Aurum Resources has unveiled spectacular gold intercepts at its Boundiali gold project in northern Côte d'Ivoire with one 1.19m hit grading 277.54 g/t gold from 31m depth at its BM prospect. The drilling program included 76 diamond drill holes at the Boundiali BM and BD prospects, covered more than 21,700m of drilling and delivered a plethora of high-grade finds.

Aurum Resources has confirmed some impressive high gold recoveries from its flagship Boundiali gold project at Côte d'Ivoire peaking at 97.1 per cent while also reducing reagent costs significantly. The company managed the twin achievements of high recoveries at reduced cost with lime use dropping by 32 per cent and cyanide requirements slashed by 40 per cent during leaching. Additionally, gravity recovery alone accounted for 50-60 per cent of gold recovery, a testament to the free-milling nature of the ore.

Aurum Resources has struck more high-grade gold at its Boundiali project in Côte d'Ivoire, with hits of up to 8m at 8.23g/t gold outside the known resource. Results from 3079m of drilling across 12 holes at Target 3 have extended mineralisation by 380m, pushing the strike to 1.9km - well beyond the 950m already included in the 1.59-million-ounce global resource.

Aurum Resources has uncovered more high-grade gold outside the 1.59-million-ounce resource boundary at its Boundiali gold project in Côte d’Ivoire, intercepting 12m of gold running at a staggering 22g/t. The intercept from 145m downhole was the first assay of four holes drilled at the company’s BD Target 3 for 678m and features bonanza grade sections of 2m at 35.59g/t and 7m of 27.5g/t gold.

Aurum Resources has scored another big hit from its Boundiali project in Côte d'Ivoire, intercepting 9m at 24.61g/t gold from 221m, including 4m at 54.64g/t from 222m. The 4m hit includes 1.3m going 156.61g/t gold. The discovery was made in one diamond hole put into the company’s BM Target 3. A second hole intercepted 2.68m assaying 10.94g/t gold from 45.7m, including 1.68m running 16.88g/t.

Aurum Resources has spectacularly ticked another box in a recent string of gold hits at its Boundiali project in Cote d'Ivoire, with an 83m best run assaying 4.87g/t gold from 106m at the company’s BD Target 1. Two runs in Aurum’s primary 83m intercept jagged 6.29m at 34.94g/t gold and 8m at 14.81 g/t gold.

Aurum Resources has taken a key step towards the establishment of an open pit mining operation at its Boundiali project in Cote d’Ivoire following the appointment of local specialist consultancy firm Envitech to undertake an environmental and social impact study of the venture. The study will cover five deposits within the company’s BD, BM and BST (Nyangboue) licences, which make up three of the company’s four tenement areas.

Aurum Resources will kick off a maiden diamond drill program this month at its newly acquired Boundiali South tenement in Cote d’Ivoire to pursue some big hits from previous reverse circulation drilling, including a 20m intercept at 10.45 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. With government approvals on track, Aurum sees no further impediment to future exploration or obtaining mining rights for the prospect.

Aurum Resources has smashed out another big gold hit in West Africa, striking a massive 89 metres at 2.42g/t gold from 213m at its Boundiali gold project in Cote d’Ivoire. The standout hit came from its BDT1 deposit, which makes up part of Aurum’s 1.59-million-ounce gold JORC resource. The drill bit also picked up sections of 7m at 14.46g/t gold and 6m at 9.01g/t gold in the hole.
