Minrex, Aleator join backdoor listings wave
Two local miners have announced plans to exit the resources industry and move into other fields, by way of backdoor listings.
Brydie McKee is a co-founder, and was chief executive, of Vonex. She has a solid background as a manager and executive in management, finance and banking and successfully built two finance companies.

Perth-based telecommunications business Vonex’s backdoor listing through acquisition by Aleator Energy has received a big boost after the Aleator share purchase plan closed 374 per cent oversubscribed.
Aleator Energy has appointed Brydie McKee as its chief executive officer and Angus Parker as chief technology officer.Gennady Varitsky has resigned as a director of the company. Mr Varitsky has been associated with the company since three years.
Amy Fink has been appointed as company secretary of Black Mountain Resources. Ms Fink replaces Jane Flegg as company secretary.
Small companies hoping to list on the stock market are facing tougher conditions, with more than a dozen announced deals in Western Australia hitting problems this year and the ASX foreshadowing tighter regulation of new deals.
