Arshad Omari

Originally trained as an architect, Professor Arshad Omari has been with Edith Cowan University (ECU) since 1994 and has extensive experience in administration, strategy and planning at all levels of the University. Prior to his appointment as senior deputy vice chancellor in 2017, Professor Omari was the deputy vice chancellor (academic), executive dean of the Faculty of Education and Arts, and head of the School of Communications and Contemporary Arts. Prior to joining ECU, he taught computer science at the University of Western Australia. Professor Omari was named acting vice chancellor of ECU from September 2014 to April 2015.
