Annabelle Chaplain AM has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, financial services, mining, engineering and major infrastructure services.
Ms Chaplain is the independent chair of Queensland Airports and Canstar, director of Downer-EDI and EFIC, Australia’s export credit agency, and a member of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Finance and Audit Committee.
Ms Chaplain is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne University, a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Mandarin from Griffith University and a Diploma from the Securities Institute of Australia.
She was awarded the 2015 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for Griffith University Business School. In 2020, Ms Chaplain was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to business through a range of executive roles.
