A recent $2.5M raising will help fund the next phase as the company works to better define the strike and dip of the mineralisation.

Augustus Minerals has received firm commitments to raise $2.5 million to fast-track stage two drilling at its Music Well gold project near Leonora. The raise follows hot on the heels of a successful maiden drill campaign that returned wide intersections, including 32m at 0.9g/t gold. The new funds will be used for a 2,800m reverse circulation and diamond drill program set to kick off in June.

Augustus Minerals has received drilling approval in WA after a heritage survey was completed with the Watarra Aboriginal Corporation Native Title Body on behalf of the Darlot People. The key permit has satisfied all prerequisite statutory requirements and clears the path for the company's maiden drilling campaign at the company's Music Well gold project.

Myanmar Metals has commenced a 15,000 metre resource development drilling campaign at its Bawdwin polymetallic mine in central Myanmar. The program is expected to grow the project's mineral resource estimates and define a large ore reserve, underpinning a feasibility study due for release in late 2019. The drilling will also allow a more thorough evaluation of the mine's copper-cobalt-nickel potential and help delineate extensions of the existing lodes.
