Ms Stratton commenced her career with KPMG spending 7 years in the assurance practice in the UK, where she qualified as a chartered accountant, and Australia.

She joined Iluka in 2011 and held a number of senior financial roles before being appointed general manager of finance, investor relations and corporate affairs in May 2017, chief financial officer in August 2018 and head of development in January 2021. Prior to joining Iluka, Ms Stratton held several finance roles at Rio Tinto Iron Ore in Perth.
