Perth-based oil and gas explorer Swala Energy has appointed Walbrook Investor Relations as its advisor as it prepares to list on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Shares in Perth-based Swala Energy have slipped slightly on their ASX debut, dropping 1 cent in limited trade.

Base metals exploration company Classic Minerals has become the 25th Western Australian company to list on the ASX this financial year.The company raised $3.6 million through an initial public offer with the issue of just over 18 million shares at a price of $0.20.

Swala Energy has announced a placement of 19.5 million shares to two investors, raising $4.4 million.

Ernest Massawe has resigned as a director of Swala Energy. Mr Massawe has been a non-executive director of the company since its incorporation in early 2013.    

Premiere Eastern Energy has appointed Wayne Reid OBE as non-executive deputy chair. He replaces David Wheeler who has resigned from the role.

Kenneth Russell has resigned as non-executive chair of Swala Energy following the completion of the company's recapitalisation process. Mohammed Ishtiaq is also no longer a non-executive director of the company.

Noel McAuliffe has been appointed chief financial officer and company secretary of Birimian. He replaces Nick Longmire who has served in those roles on a part-time basis since November 2017.
