Luerssen Australia is a subsidiary of Lürssen, renowned worldwide for its high quality products and innovative technologies within the yacht and naval shipbuilding industries.
The family-owned company, headquartered in Germany, has been in operation for over 140 years and is now in its fourth generation of family-leadership.
In May 2017, in pursuit of the SEA 1180 contract and regional export opportunities, Lürssen founded a subsidiary company, Luerssen Australia. The company is intended to support Australia’s national sovereign shipbuilding strategy and operates from a new office in the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, Western Australia.
Luerssen Australia was acquired by Civmec Group in July 2025.
