Agnico Eagle Mines (formerly Kirkland Lake Gold) is a Canada-based mid-tier gold mining, development and exploration company. It has a diversified portfolio of assets located in the stable mining jurisdictions of Canada and Australia.
Its production profile is anchored by four operations including:
- the Macassa Mine
- the Holt Complex and Detour Lake Mine located in Ontario, Canada
- the Fosterville Mine located in Victoria, Australia
In February 2022 Kirkland Lake Gold merged with another Canadian gold mining company Agnico Eagle Mines, and started trading as Agnico Eagle Mines. Agnico Eagle Mines will remain listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange.
