Jack McGinn

Jack McGinn joined Business News in 2023 as a senior journalist, covering resources (gold), energy, defence and state politics. 

Since entering the WA media industry in 2014, his various roles have included a regional stint as a subeditor at the Geraldton Guardian newspaper and resources reporting at Mining News. 

Then, Mr McGinn spent five years as editor, assistant editor, senior journalist and content manager across a range of print publications spanning resources, business, politics, homebuilding, real estate and travel at Seven West Media.

Prior to Business News, he carried out writing, editing, social media and investor communications duties at Stockhead for more than two years. 

Mr McGinn studied at Curtin University, where he graduated with a double major in Journalism and International Relations.
