Alzheimer’s Research Australia is a not-for-profit organisation supporting medical research into Alzheimer’s disease. The McCusker Alzheimer’s Research Foundation Inc. was established in 2001, and was renamed the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation in 2016. In 2024, the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation was renamed to Alzheimer’s Research Australia.
Early diagnosis could be the key to vastly improving treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and most of the studies being undertaken by Alzheimer’s Research Australia (ARA) reflect this target.
