Tim Chapman (General Manager Defence with Brunel Australia) has over 14 years in recruitment and workforce strategy, specialising in building sovereign capability across complex, safety-critical environments. Tim is also an Australian Army veteran who has been recognised through nominations for the Prime Minister’s Veteran Employment Awards.
In Defence and Maritime, Tim works closely with Defence primes and key subcontractors supporting major naval shipbuilding and sustainment programs including submarine uplift, frigate construction, patrol boats, fleet sustainment, and associated infrastructure expansion across Henderson and Western Australia. His focus is on securing cleared engineering, project controls, trades and specialist technical talent aligned to NV1, NV2 and ITAR requirements, while helping organisations scale responsibly in a highly constrained labour market.
Tim brings a commercial and delivery-grounded perspective around Defence infrastructure, workforce bottlenecks and the structural pressures currently impacting projects in WA.
