Matthew McNeilly Founder and Managing Director, Sirona Urban

Matthew McNeilly brings over 35 years of experience to his role as Managing Director at Sirona Urban. As Managing Director, he brings the creative drive to capitalise on real estate opportunities and manages the performance of the real estate business and developments, along with Sirona’s institutional capital partnerships.

Mr McNeilly is probably best known for his team’s urban regeneration projects in Fremantle including the Kings Square (Walyalup Koort) development, a partnership with the City of Fremantle comprising new State Government offices for the Department of Communities, the vibrant FOMO retail and entertainment precinct and Walyalup Civic Centre. More recently, Sirona has been active in the living and social infrastructure sectors, including the delivery of a new purpose-built student accommodation tower in Perth’s CBD.

In 2018, Sirona split its business activities allowing for the transfer of the management of Muchea Industrial Park to a new private equity business, Harvis. In 2021, Sirona transferred the balance of its funds management business to Harvis to focus solely on its expanding pipeline of development projects.

Prior to co-founding Sirona in 2010, Mr McNeilly established the Perth office of investment house Grant Samuel, where he built its corporate advisory and real estate funds management businesses into market leaders.

Mr McNeilly is a former Chair of Council at Christchurch Grammar School.
