State Manager WA, Ramsay Health Care
Dr Shane Kelly is a highly experienced health executive with an extensive career spanning 38 years in the public and private hospital and health systems in Australia, with more than 20 years in CEO roles.
Dr Kelly is currently State Manager (WA) for ASX listed Ramsay Health Care (Australia’s largest private hospital provider) and prior to that was Group CEO of St John of God Health Care Inc until late 2022. His other previous roles include Group CEO of Mater Ltd in Queensland, Chief Executive Officer of St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Chief Executive of a number of major metropolitan public health services in WA.
Dr Kelly has extensive board experience and has for the past three years been a board member of the Child & Adolescent Health Service which includes WA’s only tertiary paediatric hospital. He was previously a Director on the St John of God Health Care Inc Board, Australian Clinical Laboratories (ACL) Board, Mater Medical Research Institute Board, and Telethon Speech and Hearing Board.
