The Social Impact Festival 2017 is the biggest event of its kind in WA. With almost 200 contributors, including leading experts and influential social changemakers discussing society’s most complex issues. The festival is a platform for individuals and organisations to discover new ways to create meaningful and sustainable change. The Social Impact Festival is also a celebration to recognise the positive social impact generated in the Western Australian community and internationally.

The ten-day festival is based around three key themes: Home, Land and Place. Some key topic areas include homelessness, housing design, sustainability, Indigenous rights and wellbeing, place-based change, funding and investment for impact, and much more. It will leave you feeling more passionate and purposeful, and in turn, you will inspire others along your journey.

The Social Impact Festival is hosted by the Centre for Social Impact at The University of Western Australia. The Centre creates and delivers education that transforms, research that informs best practice, and public engagement that inspires and mobilises change makers. The Social Impact Festival will commence on Tuesday 18 July 2017 and concludes on Friday 28 July 2017. Registrations are now open.
